The canvases are semi-truck doors, panels, tires and gas tank. The size of each one is compelling. The truck doors are the actual doors from a derelict truck and the panels the actual sides of the truck. The other 2 pieces are parts of the truck; the tires and the exterior gas tank. The paint is soft pastels to give an abnormal feel to the industrial quality of truck parts. My idea is to make the viewer aware of the beauty of the “landscapes” on our freeways.
